Jim earned his BA in English from the University of Northern Iowa in 1993 and his JD from the University of Iowa School of Law in 1996. For over 10 years, he has been practicing law in Franklin County, where he resides with his wife Amy and their son. Jim practices all types of litigation, including contract and business disputes, personal injury cases and estate disputes. He is also experienced in alternative methods of resolution, such as arbitration and mediation. Jim has successfully handled multi-million dollar cases and has successfully tried various high-profile cases. He is a board member and past president of Waynesboro Rotary Club and Mainstreet Waynesboro, Inc. He is an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro, where he teaches various classes and is an ordained Elder.
